This game became widely known when it was mentioned in an article published by Scientific American in It consists of a collection of cells which, based on a few mathematical rules, can live. I've been trying to make a Game of Life program in a fairly simple (yet maybe wrong) way. Technically it seems to work but when I tried to run some test-cases the results did not fit the examples online.
